Building on the work completed last week and the learning’s the team drew from the methods of engagement, we geared up for attending Design Week events.
The team focused on two events – The Science Gallery exhibition and The National Leprechaun Museum. At the Science Gallery, Lindsay, Tara and Shane engaged Gallery aficionados in a game of UV secret gems. Using a sheet of post-its and a UV pen, people wrote secret gems, and a UV light was needed to view and read other people’s genuinely ‘secret’ gems! In the National Leprechaun Museum, Nuala and Linnea held in-depth conversations over a coffee in the Café with visitors to the museum.
In addition to Design Week, the team spoke with key City users, such as Senior Citizens outside of the Pro-Cathedral and on Meath Street, newcomers on Capel Street and Parnell Street, and people who have lived in the City all their life in Pearse House, off Pearse Street. These conversations brought further nuggets of information building towards ‘100 exciting things you didn’t know about Dublin’.
