Over the past three days, 32 candidates have been put through their paces in the Designing Dublin – 2, interview process. The interview panel was made up of Designing Dublin – 1 alumni, Design 21C founders and friends, international experts, City Council staff, as well as the Designing Dublin – 2 team leaders. Each candidate was pushed to collaborate, prototype solutions, express their creativity, reflect critically and leave their comfort zone long behind!
The interview panel were energised by the enthusiasm of the candidates and heartened by each individual’s capacity to create change in Dublin. Over the course of the day we watched people transform; taking a stand, losing their inhibitions and becoming mindful of their teammates. Whether selected for the team or not, we hope each candidate will take learning’s from the day. Next, the difficult process of choosing the final team begins!
