What is your dream?

Friday, December 3rd, 2010

This week the Love the City | Out Loud team leaders have been meeting each group seperately to work out where they see their projects going what is their ‘dream scenario’ . Be it finding a rich and undemanding sponsor, making 2,895 facebook friends on their Blog page or having

It became clear that a lot of  people have very ambitious and wideranging projects which will require them to put a call out for help. This brings each project into the next stage where clearly defined roles and objectives become very important. We asked each person the following questions which resulted in a large pool of tasks written on post-its, which we then put into a timeline.

“What is your dream outcome for this project”
“What is your role in this project”
“What are all the tasks that you have to do in order to achieve this goal”

100 Gems

Wednesday, November 24th, 2010

The Love the City team took a wander around the city following the trail of the 100 Hidden Gems map. We discovered warrior shaped terracotta chimney pots just off Georges street, found a secret Library and street I had never known about, found a roof garden with a view over the old city and had visited an aviary out the back of a bar. It was a fantastic day full of excitement and a feeling of looking at the city with new eyes. This trip really brought home to me the reason for the Love the City project. The city does not need to change much to become a more vibrant place, it needs people to poke it, challenge it and explore it.
